Effective response to the invasive species requires a systemic and cross-disciplinary approach. In the Invasion Biology Division of the National Laboratory for Health Security, the combined work of 16 research groups helps to understand the invasion processes, to explore its ecological, social and economic consequences, and to develop methods for predicting and controlling it.
